Games For The Missing & The Found
A downloadable zine collection
In 2019, well before I was involved in the TTRPG scene in any real capacity, I wrote a series of short games (between 2 words and 1 page) which were concerned with playability and meaning-making. I was a 21 year old college dropout using games as my creative space to re-examine my relationships with others and the land I lived on at a volatile time in my life. This resulted in the zine Games For Lost People, my first proper game release. I continued to create these zines of game-poems throughout 2019 and into 2020, where eventually they were part of the burgeoning movement of what are now called "lyric games."
They never achieved much critical or commercial success, although that was never the point. They were tiny poems meant for myself. After a while I stopped publishing them, but I continued to compose these games. The seventh volume, Hungry Games, was never released before now.
This collection includes 6 of the 7 volumes of Games For The Missing And The Found.
